FUTURAMA, brainchild of Simpsons creator Matt Groening, follows Fry, who inadvertently travels to the year 3000. Hilarity ensued for several years on Fox, but then the show was canceled, and then resurrected for four direct-to-DVD movies. It seemed like the end of Futurama…again. But thanks to high sales, rerun ratings, and the all-powerful Hypnotoad, Futurama’s back and new episodes are less than a month away!
Entertainment Weekly interviewed executive producer David X. Cohen, who revealed quite a few scenes and episode plots during the new season. Among them, Bender takes a stance on robosexual marriage, Farnsworth and Zoidberg have a love scene (eeew), and Craig Ferguson voices a talking part of Leela’s body. Yup, you read that right.
Additionally, we can expect racier and more controversial material (Including “cartoon flesh,” according to Cohen) as Futurama will now be airing on Comedy Central, instead of Fox.

And be sure to catch all-new episodes of Futurama on Comedy Central, starting June 24 at 10:00 pm!
